美国罗格斯大学新伯朗士威校区优势专业有图书馆媒体学、离散数学，其中图书馆媒体学全美第1，离散数学全美第2；
罗格斯大学新伯朗士威校区，（RutgersUniversityNewBrunswick），是罗格斯，新泽西州立大学（Rutgers,TheStateUniversityofNewJersey）一个最大的分校，也是美国新泽西州的最大高等学府；
罗格斯大学另有两个分校在纽瓦克和肯顿。罗格斯大学由29个大学学院构成，其中16个学院并另提供大学以上之研究所或专业学位。罗格斯大学提供超过100个学士学位、100个硕士学位以及80个博士或专业学位；
罗格斯大学是在美国第八个成立的高等学府，原本于1776年成立时称为皇后学院，起初是一个荷兰改革派教会学校，但现在学校本身并没有与任何宗教有附属关系而校方也对学生没有任何宗教上的要求；
新泽西州州议会分别于1945年和1956年通过法案将罗格斯大学指定为州立大学。1946年罗格斯大学将纽瓦克大学并入，从此有了纽瓦克分校。1950年罗格斯大学将南泽西学院并入，从此就有了肯顿分校。
