根据历年美国大学录取情况，不同目标学生的门数如下
目标是藤校：6-10门AP成绩
目标是TOP30： 5-7门AP成绩
目标是TOP50： 3-4门AP成绩
这里还是需要提醒大家， 美国大学更喜欢文理兼通的学生，文理搭配的AP成绩对申请更有利。
最好的选科方式是先确定自己大学想学的专业， 选择专业相关的科目，并搭配1~2门文科(或理科)。各专业可参考的科目搭配为
文科方向：AP美国历史、AP宏观经济/微观经济、AP英语语言与写作/英语文学与写作、AP心理学、AP微积分/统计。经济两门课知识很大相关和重合，可以两门都学，也择其一。英语两门较难，但是能锻炼到学生的论文写作能力，建议10年级就开始学习英语语言，有能力的选英语文学。心理学难度不大。另外要搭配一门理科的话，微积分、统计是第一选择。
理科方向：AP微积分BC、AP统计、AP物理、AP化学、AP心理学。对于以后想专攻顶尖理科藤校，除了最基础的微积分、物理、化学以外，统计学的学习也是非常重要的。统计学涉及数学和计算机两部分的知识。
商科方向：AP宏观经济、AP微观经济、AP微积分BC、AP英语语言与写作、AP心理学。学习金融专业的学生需要阅读大量的英文材料，英语语言与写作这一科能够大量锻炼到英文写作和阅读能力。心理学里面也有涉及经济/金融行为心理学的内容，可以提前熟悉。
工科方向：AP微积分BC、AP统计、AP物理1/2、AP物理C力学/电磁学、AP计算机A、AP环境科学。这部分同学以后的专业方向是工程学，数学和物理的学习很重要。AP物理1/2，考察深度不高，易于学习，但涉及的知识面广大于AP物理C，对英文表达能力要求高，不适合短期突破，建议学生用4-6个月的时间备考。AP物理C力学/电磁学，对专业要求较高，但是五分率很高。
