Nowadays, “Shanzhai” is everywhere. There are “Shanzhai phones”, “Shanzhai movies”, “Shanzhai stars”, and even “Shanzhai Spring Festival Eve Gala Evening”. As “Shanzhai culture” gradually deepens in people's heart, there have been many arguments about it.
Some people show a positive attitude to “Shanzhai culture”. They hold the following opinions. Firstly, it offers a good method for small companies to promote their products without trying to spend huge amount of money on “real stars” advertising. Secondly, by consuming “Shanzhai products”, people can enjoy a better life with less money. In addition, “Shanzhai” versions give ordinary people an opportunity to express themselves.
However, some people hold the opposite views. On the one hand, they think “Shanzhai products” are nothing but fakes. Furthermore, the companies that hire “Shanzhai celebrities” can mislead consumers.
