School-leaving certificate from a PASCH school
A foreign graduate of a PASCH school may or may not be considered a domestic applicant (Bildungsinländer) for the purpose of admission. For those who are considered domestic applicants (Bildungsinländer), the criteria for degree programmes with limited admission and for programmes ofstudy involving an aptitude assessment process apply.
If the foreign graduate of a PASCH school is not considered a domestic applicant (Bildungsinländer), his or her application will not be processed in the same way as for German applicants. It must be determined whether a direct qualification for entry into higher education (whether subject-related or general) is present or whether additional qualifications are required. If it is determined that the applicant is required to first attend a Studienkolleg as an additional prerequisite, he or she must apply to do so at the university that he or she wishes to attend.

2.Studienkolleg
A Studienkolleg is a special type of educational institution in Germany. Although they are located in Germany, graduates of such institutions are not considered to be domestic applicants (Bildungsinländer), but rather international applicants. Successfully completing the aptitude assessment process at a Studienkolleg provides the applicant with a subject-related qualification for entry to higher education and evidence of the requisite proficiency in the German language.
Studienkolleg graduates are therefore not required to take the DSH examination. The criteria for degree programmes with limited admission and for programmes of study involving an aptitude assessment process apply.

3.International Baccalaureate

If you have not yet received your IB diploma or if your IB grades do not meet the requirements, you will need submit a request for an evaluation of credentials to Bavaria’s Office of Foreign Credential Recognition (Zeugnisanerkennungsstelle).

If it is determined that the applicant is required to first attend a Studienkolleg as an additional prerequisite, he or she must apply to do so at the university that he or she wishes to attend.
