Good morning, my dearest professors. I am glad to be here for this interview. Thank you very much for giving me the chance. First let me introduce myself. My name is XXXX, 24 years old, from XXXX, XXXX Province.
I got my bachelor degree from Shandong University. During those four years, I studied hard and then I was recommended for admission to be a postgraduate without exams. It’s my great honor that I can remain in XXXX University for further study.
And now, as a postgraduate, my major is welding, and my supervisor is Professor XXXX. Under the guidance of my tutor, I’m doing some research on XXXX. My project name XXXX.
Personally, I am open-minded, quick in thought and curious. In my spare time, I like reading books and listening to music. When I got frustrated and nervous, I’d like to read a book or listening to some music, which can help relax me and help me stay calm and keep the peace of mind. Then I can continue my work and study with a good mood.
As mentioned, I have done some research and some experiments, which interested me and throw me into it with great enthusiasm. You know the process of research is a little boring and sometime very frustrating, but it’s challenging and inspiring and I enjoy it especially when I get some new findings by myself.
However, during the one and a half years’ study as the postgraduate, the more I studied and experienced, the more clearly I realized that I need study further. As a result, I want to apply for the opportunity to further study as a PhD graduates without exam so that I could able to continue my research smoothly.
