1. “More than one + 单形名词”结构虽有复念，但习惯上作主语时，谓语动词用单数。

2. “more +复形名词+than one” 作主语时，谓语动词用复数。
More boys than one【have read】the story. 不止一个男孩已经读了这个故事。
More members than one have protested against the proposal.
不止一个成员抗议这项提议。
注意：
more than one +数词＋复数名词 作主语时,谓语动词用复数.。
例如: More than one thousand men and women【are working】in this factory.
